Overland Russia, Belorussia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, abut upon Kiev ladies. With Ukraine Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, have a marine border. From a north to the south an entire country is crossed by the large river Dnepr, which takes beginning on Valdayskoy of sublimity and falls in the Dneprovsko-bugskiy estuary of the Kiev ladies sea. Kiev is located in north part of Ukraine, on the border of forest-steppe area and area of mix up forests, in the middle flow of Dnepr (below than mouth of Desna), on both his banks.
Kievan relief is presented flat forms: on Left-bankness is the Pridneprovskaya low-laying area, on Pravoberezh’e in north part is the Polesskaya low-laying area, in Sonth part is Pridneprovskaya sublimity. The high right bank of Dnepr in the district of Kiev occupies the offspurs of Pridneprovskoy sublimity. This rise is named the Kiev ladies plateaux (in French a “plateau” designates “flat”). It is thickly cut beams and ravines. Locality both rises, forming the row of separate heights or goes down to the level of valley of Kiev ladies. Of point (106 meters) above the level of Dnepr lie in east part of city, in the district of Pecherska. From here locality gradually falls down westward, in the wide valleys of the river of Lybed’ and brooks of Kreschatika and Buffoon. Then again grief rises to Batyevoy. Both plateaux from a yellow loess and different breeds of clays torn off high steep slopes east - in the valley of Dnepr, to the low-laying area boroughs.
